NPA boosts local content, handles assembly of Sikorsky S-92 Helicopter

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has boosted the local content development programme of the Federal Government by successfuly handling the shipment and assembly of a Sikorsky S-92 Helicopter (SN-920299). The first in the history of tne Nigeria maritime industry.

National Mail learnt on Thursday that the19 seater heavy duty  Helicoper was recently acquired by Caverton Helicopter Limited, a wholly indigenous Nigerian company.

It was handled at the Port & Terminal Multiservices Limited (PTML),Tin Can Island Port (TCIP), Lagos.
