Jandor sympathises with Lagos flood victims, sets up disaster recovery team across 20 LGAs
Paul Ogbuokiri
The Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran ( aka JANDOR) has expressed his heart felt empathy to the cries of families displaced by the recent flooding of parts of Lagos State and  expressed displeasure over the challenging experience of  Lagosians any time it rains.
To help amilerorate the suffering of the effected residents, JANDOR has reached out to some of the victims earlier in the week, but the situation became worrisome today  (Saturday) with the torrential rain that has lasted for about 7hours.
“I have received with worries, messages of families being displaced as a result of today’s downpour. It is disheartening to see the good people of the state suffer such neglect and huge discomfort. This disaster is preventable and avoidable at least to the barest minimum,” Jador said in a message to Lagosians.
In his usual prompt  approach to the yearnings of Lagosians, Jandir, the governorship candidate of PDP in Lagos State, has put up actions to mitigate the effect of the flood across the 20 local government areas of the state. “In the interim, I have set up a Disaster Recovery Team across the state from our network of members to offer immediate assistance to the victims” he said.
JANDOR commiserates with the victims and pray that there will be no loss of lives even as the rain still continues in some part of the state.
“We will continue to patch up until we install a government we can jointly call our own and have a breath of fresh air in Lagos,” he said.
Please call the following numbers, we will try our best to provide support and assistance where necessary.
